About Kağan Samet Durmuş

Academic and technical background bringing together Management Information Systems, economics, and a fintech-driven product focus.

Academic and product foundation

I study Management Information Systems in English at Topkapı University while also pursuing a double major in Economics. That combination helps me evaluate technical decisions not only at implementation level, but also through data and business logic.

My work around fintech, data analysis, Python, and SQL turns into applied projects rather than staying theoretical. The foreign trade analytics pipeline and the BIST vs MOEX comparison study are direct examples of that research-heavy direction.

I also treat multilingual product work as a distinct capability. FinTechTerms combines language, information architecture, and product design in one system.

Core focus areas

  • Russian language development and multilingual content thinking
  • Fintech and market research
  • Python, SQL, and data analysis
  • Product-oriented information architecture

How this background appears in the work

This academic and technical base directly shapes the portfolio itself. It is why data-pipeline projects include economic context, why research pages emphasize analytical discipline, and why multilingual product work is treated as a real information-architecture problem instead of a translation layer.

Evidence and decision criteria

Claims on this site are tied to visible artifacts rather than generic profile language: project pages explain the problem, stack, workflow, and outcome; certificate pages link to external records; and the skills page routes each capability back to a concrete case study. That structure makes the background auditable for readers and search engines.

For applied examples of this direction, visit the Projects page. For external certificate signals, use Certificates.
